Setexe respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and which rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Setexe S.r.l., Italy.

For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to us at the address above.
2. Personal data we collect
Data you give us. When you use the contact form we receive your full name, company (optional), work email, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in and your message. If you write to us by email or call us, we receive the data contained in your message or call.
Browsing data. Like every website, the servers that host this site automatically record technical data in their logs, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages requested, date and time of the request and the response code. This data is used only to operate the site, keep it secure and investigate abuse, and is not used to identify you.
Cookies. This site uses only technical cookies that are necessary for it to work. We do not use analytics, profiling or advertising cookies. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Please do not send us special categories of data (for example health data) through the contact form: we do not need them to answer your request.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Answering your requests for information, quotes or consultations, and taking steps before entering into a contract | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Managing the business relationship once a contract is signed | Performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Operating the website, keeping it secure and preventing abuse | Our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Complying with legal, tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) |
| Defending our rights in case of disputes | Our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) |
We do not use your data for newsletters or marketing communications unless you have given us your specific consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Is providing your data mandatory?
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form are needed to answer you. If you do not provide them we will not be able to handle your request. Other fields are optional.
5. How we process your data
Your data is processed electronically by authorised Setexe staff who are bound by confidentiality, using technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and up-to-date software. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email to our mailbox, and a copy is kept in the private administration area of the website, accessible only to our administrators, so that no request is lost. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
6. Who receives your data
Your data is not sold or disseminated. It may be shared, only as far as necessary, with:
- providers that host this website and our email, acting as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR;
- IT, maintenance and professional service providers (for example accountants and lawyers), bound by confidentiality or acting as data processors;
- public authorities, when required by law.
The list of data processors is available on request.
7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
We aim to process data within the European Economic Area. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, the transfer takes place only to countries with an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 44 and following GDPR).
8. How long we keep your data
- Contact requests: for the time needed to answer you and follow up, and in any case no longer than 24 months from our last contact, unless a contract is signed. The copy kept on the website is deleted automatically after 24 months.
- Contract and accounting data: for the duration of the contract and then for 10 years, as required by Italian law (Art. 2220 of the Civil Code).
- Server logs: for a short period for security purposes, unless needed to investigate an incident.
When the retention period ends, data is deleted or made anonymous.
9. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you can, at any time:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data, when the conditions of the law apply;
- ask us to restrict the processing of your data;
- receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used format and have it transmitted to another controller (data portability);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to info@setexe.com. We will reply without undue delay and in any case within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
10. Minors
Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from people under 14 years of age.
11. Links to other websites
This site contains links to other websites, such as our LinkedIn page. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they process your data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
